Generic WelcomeEdit

Seeing as the Col. bestowed you with our generic "My friends from ?pedia got opped at SEU and all I got was this lousy template" template (he means well), here's an actual hand-typed welcome:

Welcome. Hello. How are you?

Okay, ...not a good welcome either. What can I say? I panicked. ~ The Bard of S.E.Uncyclopedia http://images.uncyc.org/commons/thumb/f/fd/Quill.gif/15px-Quill.gif 18:58, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Yeah. At least I took the effort to put something there.--Colonel Sanders 19:01, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
True. A few keystrokes is better than none at all. I hope she feels the love. <3 =) ~ The Bard of S.E.Uncyclopedia http://images.uncyc.org/commons/thumb/f/fd/Quill.gif/15px-Quill.gif 19:19, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
I hope she does. I know I do. Excuse me while I gag...--Colonel Sanders 19:23, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
I still feel kind of sick, actually. But that's neither here nor there... hi. ~ Pointy.png 19:44, 14 August 2011

And why can't I get the logo to work? Can you do your magic before I reprotector it?--Colonel Sanders 19:47, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Server caches. If you keep reuploading it with slight changes, or just reverting and and deleting the old ones, I find that can get around it. ~ Pointy.png 19:49, 14 August 2011

I mean really asking for it ops? If you pay attention to Special:Log/rights, you'd see it takes a minimal of effort to get user rights around here. I'm already oversight and soon I shall be the king!!! ~Your major overlord Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 02:20, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Mon, you already have a more secure and proper form of oversight as an admin - revision deletion/hiding. Using oversight oversight almost never has any advantages to it, unless there's something that needs to be hidden from admins, and on a project this size that shouldn't ever happen. That said, if you do use the oversight oversight, you also run the risk of mixing up who contributed what, which carries legal concerns as well...
Unless the usual revision deletion/hiding thing got separated into another usergroup or something, in which case... what? ~ Pointy.png 03:13, 29 September 2011
Oversight does what now? ~Your major overlord Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 05:32, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Frosty, oversight is a form of revision deletion that can be hidden from admins as well as everyone else, which can have its uses, but also has other downsides because of how differently it's implemented. What you did on the log wasn't actually oversight, though, since it left the visible sign to everyone (the greyed-out stuff) characteristic of revision deletion/hiding, so it's kind of... interesting how doing that evidently resulted in your 'oversight' permissions being revoked. ~ Pointy.png 22:14, 1 October 2011

You have temporary Ops. 48 hours. Hurry up!--Colonel Sanders 10:33, 29 September 2011 (UTC) Time's up. ~ The Bard of S.E.Uncyclopedia http://images.uncyc.org/commons/thumb/f/fd/Quill.gif/15px-Quill.gif 11:08, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, I came on looking to work on it now, but apparently my spare time doesn't fit your schedules. Well, nevermind, then; I know when I'm not welcome. Sorry to bother you. ~ Pointy.png 22:09, 1 October 2011
There's no need for dramatics. You requested, and received temporary ops on the same day you asked for it. Let us know when your next window of availability is and it will be reinstated for another 48 hours. ~ The Bard of S.E.Uncyclopedia http://images.uncyc.org/commons/thumb/f/fd/Quill.gif/15px-Quill.gif 12:12, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Mon, you and CS have been putting me at arm's length pretty much since I first came here; I know it was probably not even consciously, but it does make a gal feel distinctly unwelcome. What I don't understand, however, is why you insist on taking userrights so seriously when you don't even have a userbase, let alone at all; if someone has something that they'd like to improve and you know they're not going to do anything awful, what's the issue? Especially when it's about all they even could do on a project like this; you've seen how I write and simply ain't it. But here, I'll just give you some links. Maybe you can sort the stuff out yourself.
Cheers. It probably won't be doable in 48 hours, though, even if the actual editing only takes a much shorter span... bugs do tend to pop up, after all, but caching could hide them for days, and who knows what else might crop up... ~ Pointy.png 16:22, 2 October 2011

What Bard said: no need for dramatics. We just already have too many admins here; Me, Bard, CH, Frosty, RM, HO, MGfunnynumber; I just think that user rights can't be too easy to earn when we gain a membership. I have no problem handing out rollbacks like candy... You have Ops now. Go ape.--Colonel Sanders 20:06, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Sorry about that. It's just frustrating, you know? Nevermind what other ops there are, none of them did this stuff. There really wouldn't be much point in my keeping the ops after, of course, but I'm also not sure when I'll be done... I'll look into it this evening, though. Need to write a paper first. Ghah. ~ Pointy.png 15:39, 3 October 2011

I guess I should be thanking youEdit

Thankyou for what you did it saved me a lot of time and meant I didn't have to do a lot hen I finally woke up. Consider the long ait revernge for all the times you made me wait to ban somebody on Uncyclopedia >:D Also cookies. ~Your major overlord Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 10:04, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

You should probably consider getting a rollback all script for yourself, as it would save you a lot of effort on things like that. Also, what's with the sitenotice? ~ Pointy.png 18:00, 28 January 2012
Somebody forgot to update it from ages ago probably. Most likely it as me O_o. ~Your major overlord Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 10:02, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
And as for a rollback all script I could always steal borrow the one on Uncyclopedia, but I'll do that later its like midnight. ~Your major overlord Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 10:05, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
